Better than Yahoo ever was. Just go to accuweather.com and search your city, replace the location code for both the picture and forecast.

e.g. http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/detroit-mi/48226/weather-forecast/348755

The rss feed is based on your location code, you will have to search for that, each country has their own.

Replace the directory for your image location and create a picture link geeklet and it's all done!

too easy.

Okay, I'm now about to thoroughly embarrass myself...

Could you please go more step by step regarding, "Replace the directory for your image location and create a picture link geeklet and it's all done!"???

I have a mild learning disability so understanding instructions, while they may be simple for most people, can be difficult for me.

The script contains a local path to save the image too. Edit the last line in the first paragraph from xargs curl -o /Users/Ben/weather.png Assuming your Mac has a user name of Ben. This will copy the picture file from accuweather to your device in that directory.

Then create a image shell from geek tool and go to that picture.

Hope that helps

I am having a hard time figuring out how to make my weather icon match the weather conditions.

I am a total newby, so if you could really explain step by step from how to get the weather icons, to how to put them in the script, I would appreciate it.
