Fans & Temperature Monitor Geeklet

Posted in System by Buick 562 days ago

This Geeklet used to monitor Intel Mac's fans speed and CPU/GPU temperature.

screenshot

Here are two attachments:

  • fans_tempsMonitor.glet is used to add a new configuration in GeekTool

  • fanstempsMonitorexec.glet is the executable file for Fans & Temperature Monitor Geeklet.

Nowadays, I SUBMIT a fans / temperature monitor App to Mac App Store. It supports both C and F display. If you just want to show the fans speed and temperature on your Desktop, please check out DesktopMonitor in Mac App Store.

Because of the limitation of attachment, I renamed this file extension to glet. So, please download it to your home folder (~/) and then first modify the file extension to .tar.gz and double click it to unarchive. The executable file in fanstempsMonitorexe is named .fans_tempsMonitor (this means this is a invisible file by default), so when you unarchive it, you cannot find it in Finder (you can find it in Terminal command: ls -al ~/).

If you have any questions, please mail me at buickwang555@gmail.com

This Geeklet is only for Intel Macs.
