There are a couple of these already, but I just really like the Youversion Bible app for iOS. It's very popular and so I just wanted to create a Geeklet to their Verse of the Day feed. This is my first time EVER attempting UNIX code like this.
I had a little help getting the verse numbers and gibberish out of the text from my buddy @lupka. And a special thanks to @anddh for giving me the starting code from his version of this Geeklet.
I formatted them with a beautiful font and designed it to go along your desktop above your dock or below your menu bar.
Edit: I've also added a single Geeklet for biblegateway.com. The verse and reference are together, along with the translation being used. This is the one I'm actually using now.
