I finally got my machine up and running and went to town for two days with Geeklets. I borrowed a ton from everything from Tron to Countdown timer, and modified others. Im also using some not listed on this site, such as the Unread Mail script and commands to list Reminders using iCalBuddy.
As for the processes and memory usage, that's mostly a pc command and not top for CPU reasons.
Finally, snow reports come from onthesnow rss and the RSS reader geeklet.
